Default Gamer Title Change to include losses

The description for the Gamer title says "You earn gamer points by participating in Festival Games".

At the moment the only time your awarded gamer points is if you win the match (or in the case of rollerbeatle get to finsih within 30sec of first place).

I think that to better match the description of the title, 1 gamer point should be awarded for each loss in the festival games. This would at least reflect the "participating" part of the description ingame.

The title is nigh impossible to get unless you are botting and/or syncing.

I agree it would makes sense. But real gamerz never loose against n00bz =D.

Seriously, I'm neutral. It makes sense, but not needed, I don't care and it would devalue the title. I don't mind hard titles. Even with HoM.
(that's not egoism, /signed means "I want this")

This is the reason I can't agree with this. /report does not solve the problem, either. So many people leech JQ in spite of /report, so ...

Separate win/loss ratio (skill) and participation (experience) as in many other games.

Then the QQ will stop.

Seeing how Guild Wars itself is a game, we should get 1 gamer pt/min for simply being online during all festivals. That would make it totally consistent with what the title says it is.

You should get a gamer point per skill used. That would better reflect the title itself, joking aside this probably isn't the best idea.

Points simply for the sake of effort should never be given, at least in a scope such as this.

I never participated in the Gamer title simply because of the fact that losers get nothing to show for it, despite them making an effort to play. For those that say that it would encourage leeching, botting and overall cheating, people do it in PVP now. It's not going to change anything.

On a side note, glad points should be given for participating and losing the first match. Then maybe award 2+ points for winning instead. That way my effort and participation is awarded despite my failures and unluckiness.
